I’ve spent my 25+ year career in tech, starting in design, adding research and strategy expertise along the way, and leading multi-disciplinary teams at many types and sizes of organizations.

My primary work is now coaching and professional development. I work with individuals, groups, and teams, with an expertise in helping people become more effective and use their resources more strategically, to achieve their objectives in sustainable ways. I’m an ICF-certified leadership and ADHD coach, with additional training in trauma and EMDR.

I still do consulting as a design strategist (think product strategy with a focus on aligning customer and business objectives). I've driven the experience strategy, research and design for startups, agencies, mid-sized and Big 5 organizations.

I'm also an experienced facilitator, moderator, panelist, and speaker.

I’m currently the host of the Seattle chapter of CreativeMornings, a monthly in-person breakfast lecture series.

In 2018 I created the UX Cake podcast, currently on hiatus since 2023. You can still access over 65 episodes on topics that help UX pros become more effective in their work and careers.

My passion is developing people & teams

My transition to leadership coaching and development has been a natural progression of the work I've done. As a human-centered design leader was focused on building resilient teams and developing highly effective individuals who have become amazing leaders themselves. I've been coaching individuals and teams for many years, long before my ICF coaching certification in 2021.

After realizing that my passion was more about people and their outcomes, vs. the output, I knew I wanted to pursue leadership coaching as a career, starting with getting certified as a leadership and life coach, and more recently adding an ADHD coaching certification. This has been a deeply fulfilling journey for me, and I'm constantly spurred on by the transformation I witness in my clients.
